Before Your Photo Shoot

Tidy up

Make the beds, clear out the kitchen sink, fold or hide bathroom towels, and straighten the cushions and pillows on couches and chairs. Put garbage pails away, sweep up, tuck away hoses, pool toys, etc. Also, please park all cars on the street and try to keep the front of the house clear for the best results.

Windows

Close all windows and doors, open all shades and drapes, even out all blinds and shutters. If possible, have the windows cleaned.

Lights

Just before the time of your shoot turn on all lights and replace burnt out bulbs (ideally all bulbs will be same type ex: fluorescent/incandescent so light color is even, but we work with what we have sometimes). Turn off all ceiling fans or other moving objects. Turn off all televisions and monitors. *If twilight shoot, also turn on all exterior, patio and pool lighting.

Camera… Action!

We come in and work our photo magic. Our photographers have booties for their shoes upon request. Our goal is to impact any occupant as little as possible, however, it may be necessary to temporarily move or adjust certain items around the house. We always try to leave a location exactly as we found it.
